I have an 01 audi a4 the wires for the map sensor got pulled out during an accident... so i got a new connector and pig tail but the wire colors arent the same.. i need to know what goes where... thanks -pat
new pig tail has:
1.light blue/orange
2. none
3.purple/green
4.purple/ grey
existing wires on my 01 audi a4 are:
black, white/black, blue/grey...
I dont have a bently yet for this year car.. any help would be much appreciated!!!!!!! _________________ Patrick Doody

| Looking at alldata did not find map sensor ,how ever did find charge air sensor . Your black ( sw) is the ground pin (kl.) 1 - , your white/black (ws/sw) is pin (kl.)3+ that is your 5 volt ref. ,your blue /grey (bl/gr)is the return to the ecu.pin (kl) 101 . not sure about your colors but here are the locations on the connector:
pin 1 == GND
pin 2 == Not used
pin 3 == +5v
pin 4 == signal 0-5v |

Good info. I will see if my multimeter will point me in the right direction with this one... I know its doing something weird to the way the car runs cause it will stutter at takeoff, and I don't think its making much if any boost at higher rpms... If I understand correctly it reads the boost pressure to warn the ecu if the motor is being over boosted or something to that effect. _________________ Patrick Doody

blk: gnd : pin1
wht/blk :+5v : pin3

haha me too. bently wiring diagrams and me do not get along... After I found the ground I only had a 50/50 chance of getting the others right haha. no more code for it, and the motor is def running alot more strong. thanks for the help everyone. _________________ Patrick Doody
